Position Overview

Isthmus Partners LLC is seeking a candidate for the position of ​Director of (Equity) Trade Operations. This individual will report to the Director of Operations and sit on the operations team. The director will work closely with the Strategy Portfolio Manager, Domestic Equity Investment Team, and Client Services teams.

General Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for time and price in the execution of domestic equity, ETF, and mutual fund trades
• Work with Portfolio Managers and Domestic Equity Investment Team to implement investment strategies
• Identify strategies for creating operational efficiencies in portfolio management and trade execution
• Review and monitor portfolio risk characteristics and compliance with investment guidelines
• Utilize market data tools for portfolio/trading analysis (FactSet included)
• Manage and monitor aspects of the portfolio reporting software
• Trade set up and modeling of workflows
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and assist with client-specific portfolio projects and questions

Required Qualifications:

• Completed bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• 4 years of experience trading securities
• CMT, CFA, Series 65 or other state licensure preferred
• Portfolio management software experience desired, and experience with Advent Software platforms (APX, Moxy, Genesis) preferred
• Understanding of liquidity constraints/execution strategies when evaluating and executing trades of various capitalization levels (large, mid, small)
• Strong Excel skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Personable, collaborative approach to work
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Strong desire to learn and apply technology to growth of the firm
• Great attention to detail in the process of planning and executing trades

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
