Are you a skilled Sr. Network Engineer looking for a remote opportunity in Houston or Austin, Texas? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our client full-time and take on the challenging role of analyzing, implementing, configuring, and managing all aspects of LAN/WAN network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve network issues through advanced research and technical expertise
- Design and implement solutions to enhance network efficiency and resiliency
- Collaborate with clients to deliver superior network solutions tailored to their needs
- Maintain and optimize network infrastructure components such as Cabling-Racking, LAN/WAN, VPN, Network Security, and Wireless

Competencies Required:
- Proficiency in network systems and security applications
- Familiarity with Cisco VXLAN and Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong project management abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to provide after-hours and weekend support as needed
- Skilled in problem identification and resolution
- Proficient in routing and switching protocols
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Understanding of business environment and policies

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network/communications field
- Knowledge of Cisco VXLAN or Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field preferred
- CCNP or CCDP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 2 years
