- Perform Civil design and engineering activities to ensure that all the CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) engineering deliverables for various projects are developed as per scope, with quality, and as per schedule to meet client expectations.
- Act as Lead Civil Engineer, assisting the Manager in the formulation of Civil Estimates, Calculations, and drawings for various project stages, including FEL 1, FEL 2, FEL 3, and detailed design phases.
- The incumbent will assist the CSA Engineering Manager and Project Managers on multiple projects on engineering studies, Civil part of modular design and checking of third party civil & structural consultant design calculation, deliverable and tasks.
- Manage and review work done by Civil designers.
Requirements
- Read and comprehend the project scope and deliverables of all active projects.
- Plan and coordinate with 3rd party civil/structural consultant to develop project deliverables. Review the deliverables providing technical input for safe and workable design.
- Design of Civil site developments such as detention pond, asphalt and concrete pavements, grading, underground pipeline design for utility and wastewater.
- Review of civil site development deliverables and technical documentation produced by suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist designers in producing Civil Construction documents for IFR, IFA and IFC.
- Assist Manager in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs for proposals, estimates associated with Civil site development.
- Liaising with clients, vendors, project management, discipline engineers and civil designers to support the CSA deliverables to meet projects scope & specifications.
- Participate in the design reviews with clients and internal disciplines to represent CSA Engineering.
- Ensuring a safe, positive work environment with excellent problem-solving & communication skills.
- Assist with the development of new civil engineering guidelines and improve existing guidelines by implementing industry and company best practices.
