Ismaily Eye Care PLLC is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Spring, TX

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional patient care.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records systems (Epic, Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar administrative role
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (Epic, Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes
- Exceptional customer service skills with a compassionate approach
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
