Requirements:

• Active member of New York bar in good standing
• Admitted to practice in State Courts
• 5 years of meaningful, hands-on litigation experience - real estate or foreclosure preferred; Bankruptcy litigation experience a plus. Surrogate’s experience a
• Proven ability to effectively manage a caseload, handling all aspects of the cases from initial filing through final disposition. You will be asked to provide three citations to complex cases you’ve successfully argued.
• Excellent research skills and verbal communication ability
• Advanced writing skills a MUST. Two writing samples required, one of which must be an Appellate brief
• Highly analytical with the ability to develop innovative approaches and creative solutions to challenging legal issues.
• Highly informed and abreast of the latest trends in foreclosure law
• Strong academic credentials coupled with superior computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively communicate with team members at all levels
• Drive, determination and a commitment to excellence
• Demonstrated ability to: work collaboratively as a member of the team, adapt behavior in dealing with changing situations and people, adjust priorities in response to unanticipated events, manage and stay on top of a variety of projects in an organized manner, work efficiently and quickly, while maintaining good work product, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
