Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work in cigar smoking environment
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to verify their age
- Adhere to all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a hospitality, catering, or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and calculating drink prices
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
Note: Experience with brewing or food handling is a plus but not required for this position.
