A global leader in special and custom machinery with a facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan is currently seeking several Industrial Machine Builders for long-term opportunities with their growing company.

Machinery Builders hourly rates are anticipated to start between $20 to $30 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. We will pay more for the right skills and experience. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. We offer excellent benefits including great Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Generous PTO, 401k with matching, and more!
Qualified Machine Builders will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
- Any experience with machinery building, high-precision prototype, short-run specialty builds, robotics, automation, conveyors, CNC, etc.
- Able to read blueprints to fit and assemble components to tolerance – familiarity with CAD systems is a plus.
- Good math and measuring skills with ability to use measuring tools to align and fit.
- Must have good a mechanical aptitude with problem solving / troubleshooting abilities, enjoy working on a high variety of projects and be a team player.
- Use of shop and hand tools for fabrication and assembly, machining experience is a benefit but not required.
- Able to pass standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
