Job Description
As a Systems Administrator, you will be the leader of a Tier 1 IT team. The primary focus is on ensuring smooth operations and efficiency. This involves supervising the team, resolving IT support tickets promptly, and collaborating with other IT units to address complex issues. Developing training programs to enhance team skills, monitoring performance, and maintaining high customer satisfaction are crucial aspects. Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry practices is essential. Additionally, involvement in recruitment, onboarding, documentation, goal setting, and interfacing with support teams ensures streamlined processes and continuous improvement. Administrative tasks such as time sheet approvals and conducting management meetings also contribute to team cohesion and effectiveness.Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Tier 1 & 2 IT technologies and support processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to organize multiple people and tasks through written and verbal communication.
- Aid in the daily organization of ticketing systems and client requests for the Managed Services Department.
- All candidates must have successful completion of a criminal background check.
