Responsibilities

Job Description:

The Data Technical Support (DTS) Team will be based on a hub and spoke concept of operations with analysts permanently positioned or on Temporary Duty (TDY) status at the USSOCOM HQ, TSOC, Component Commands, Special Operations Joint Task Forces (SOJTF), Combined Joint Special Operations Task Forces (CJSOTF), Special Operations Task Forces (SOTF), and Special Operations Command Forward Elements (SOCFWD).

The team will be comprised of Data Integrators, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, System Architects, and Front-End Developers.

Front End Developers/Software Engineers are responsible for creating next generation web-based and desktop applications designed to enhance user interface with tools and capabilities created by the DST. Front End Developers will perform the following duties:

Job Duties Include (but not limited to): 

• Design, prototype, develop, and implement applications using Web programming technologies to include but not limited to: JavaScript, HTML, HTMLS, and CSS.
• Work with DST Data Analysts, Data Integrators, Data Scientists, and Database Engineers to create, troubleshoot, and recommend appropriate user interface capabilities
• Work with DST members and customers to enhance user experience and implementation requirements.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• Seven years’ experience with modern Web technology stack.
• Four years of experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, C5S, and similar web programming technologies.
• Experience with Restful APls, relational databases, and cross browser compatibility troubleshooting techniques.

Security Clearance: 

• Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI is required
