Responsibilities:

As a CNA at Iris Medical Center, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing patients with HEART (Helpful, Empathetic, Attentive, Responsive, Thoughtful) care.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), direct patient care, including preparing meals and feeding patients, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene support.
• Conducting regular rounds to monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being.
• Facilitating patient transportation for appointments, therapies, and other activities.
• Sharing observations and vital signs data with nursing teams and physicians to aid in patients' health evaluations.
• Developing strong, nurturing relationships with the residents and their families.
• Performing light housekeeping duties and maintaining cleanliness in patients’ rooms.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in maintaining and recording healthcare records.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
• Ability to lift and move patients in a respectful and caring manner.
• Sincere interest in improving the lives of people with disabilities, the elderly, and those recovering from illnesses.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of COVID vaccination.
