SALARY: Starting Salary: $15.98 per hour All training hours are paid time POSITION DESCRIPTION: Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship Program, you will be qualified to perform the duties of an Income Maintenance Caseworker I in the Energy Program. The duties of the position are: The primary purpose of this position is to take and process Energy Program applications. This consist of interviewing clients and collecting and verifying relevant eligibility requirements. Utilize the NCFAST system to gather and input information into the web data-base. Determine eligibility requirements based on the status of the heating / cooling system of the home and the health status of the household members. Work with other community partners to provide referrals to the client when deemed necessary. Process Energy Program applications from a variety of sources including in-person, telephone, mail, e-pass, e-mail and / or fax.
