Position: Technology/Engineering TeacherLocation: Ipswich High SchoolFTE: 1.0- 10 MonthSchool Year: 2024-2025Start Date: August 26, 2024Reports to: PrincipalIpswich High School is seeking a full-time Technology/Engineering teacher for its technology department for the '24-'25 school year. Qualified candidates will possess or be eligible to earn a valid 5-12 Technology/Engineering license issued by the MA DESE and will be proficient in introductory CAD drawing software (e.g. Onshape, Sketchup, Fusion 360), the design/build process, and use of both manual and power wood- and metal-working tools and machinery. Candidates must also be willing to learn CNC machine programming. Included in the role responsibilities is the expectation of managing the school’s competitive remote control car racing team. Mastery of and adherence to established industry safety standards are also expected.
