Position Summary

An Associate is responsible for providing daily operational technology support, maintaining inventories, documenting licensing, and other technology-related activities for multiple customers with minimal supervision. The candidate will ensure high-quality operational support and provide innovative solutions for our customers.

This candidate should be creative, energetic, and willing to make decisions that guarantee successful support. This individual will be required to document solutions and systems consistently. There is significant contact with the customer community, whether in person or supporting remote users. This position requires candidates to have strong communication skills, verbal and written, focusing on customer service and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Issues Management and Resolution:

  • Solid Knowledge of Windows and Mac/OSX operating systems, MS Office, and Outlook, familiar with help desk tools such as Ivanti/Landesk and Remedy.
  • Has good verbal and written communication skills needed with a high focus on customer service.
  • Active Directory administration.
  • Knowledge of Crestron, Surface Hub, Polycom VTC, Polycom Telephony, Teams, and other AV systems.
  • Analyze issues and formulate solutions
  • Has the ability to provide solutions to user problems to ensure user satisfaction and productivity
  • Troubleshoot system, application, and hardware issues
  • Must be comfortable supporting C-level executives in a high pace environment.
  • Troubleshooting remote end-user incidents with issues such as VPN, MFA, and Email
  • Update the customer & service desk with status and resolution
  • Work directly with customers to solve problems
  • Use external information to research and resolve issues when needed
  • Consistently update the ticket tracking system with status and fixes
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal direction
  • Demonstrates a passion for technology.

Systems Administration:

  • Assist in performing routine desktop systems maintenance
  • Build and deploy desktop images utilizing MDT and JAMF Pro
  • Install/configure desktop hardware and software
  • Assist in documenting processes and systems
  • Track assets
  • Ensure AV systems (TVs, Phones, Surface Hubs, etc.) are working order, working with external vendors when necessary.
  • Perform backups and restores

Communication:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a heavy focus on customer service
  • Document solutions, systems, and procedures
  • Consistently share solutions with peers
  • Updating IT management on any issues and project/work status.
  • Works effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Adhere to team policies and organizational reporting structures

Resource & Project Management:

  • Complete assigned tasks on time
  • Ability to follow documented commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple constituencies, issues, priorities, and goals

Security and Compliance: All IT staff must familiarize themselves and comply with all information security and compliance rules, regulations, and policies.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent program or IT experience preferred

Experience

Minimum 3 years of IT experience

Experience working in a heterogeneous technical environment

MAC/PC cross-platform skills are a strong plus

AV/conference room support.

The surface Hub experience is a plus.

Additional Skills

  • Experience in the Advertising and/or Marketing industry preferred
  • At least two years of experience delivering IT solutions within a corporate and/or high volume environment preferred
