ReStore Logistics & Donation Manager

Employment Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Reports to: ReStore Manager

The ReStore Logistics and Donation Manager will oversee general daily operations and performance of the IHHFH (Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity) affiliate ReStore. Majority of time is spent executing and planning the donation intake schedule. Along with overseeing the sales floor and/or donation center, assisting customers, fellow staff, and managing volunteers. Outside of daily operations, the Logistics and Donation Manager will assist the ReStore Manager in achieving operational, financial, administrative, volunteer, and customer goals by promoting the overall mission of IHHFH.

• Opening and closing of the ReStore during scheduled daily hours, including nightly financial audits and deposits.

• Oversee donation inventory and pick up schedule.

• Working closely with the ReStore Manager to attract and retain volunteers.

• Assist the ReStore Manager in developing and implementing marketing and public relation campaigns to increase donations and sales.

• Work closely with the ReStore Manager to maintain overall store safety in regards to staff, volunteers, donors, and customers.

• Maintain that general ReStore policies and documentation are followed and recorded.

• Knowledge of ReStore operations, procedures, equipment, inventory and terminology.

• Exceptional computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

• Knowledge of stock replenishment and monthly inventory tracking and reporting.

• Experience working with in-kind donations preferred.

• Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules and safety standards.

• Exceptional driving record and experience safely operating heavy machinery.

• Friendly, with ability to communicate and build respect with coworkers, volunteers, donors, and overall customer base.

• Dependable, hard-working, team-player with the ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and execute team-lifting safely.

• Ability to provide leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers in the absence the ReStore Manager or supporting manager.

• Must be able to work Tuesday-Saturday during operational store hours with some flexibility as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
