Description Summary
Examples of Duties
Constant (67-100%)
- Schedule, visit and make multiple presentations at high schools throughout Iowa.
- Assist prospective students and parents with on-campus visits and tours.
- Correspond when appropriate to prospective students by e-mail and phone for admissions follow-up.
- Assist with College’s formal Triton Visit Days.
- Represent Iowa Central at various other recruiting events.
- Will participate, as requested, in special enrollment/recruiting related projects.
- Provide input and insights into the development of special recruiting communication tools.
- Regularly evaluate recruitment activities and make suggestions for changes and improvements.
- Evaluate prospective students for their eligibility and qualifications to receive scholarship funds.
- Distribute scholarship funds to recipients as determined by the advisor.
Frequent (34-66%)
- Attend departmental and division meetings.
- Assist faculty in all recruitment phases.
- Serve as a liaison between Enrollment Services and Instruction.
- Responsible for relaying information to students (i.e. transfer days).
Occasional (10-33%)
- Serve on college committees.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of communications within the college and the community.
- Other duties as assigned.
