Regional Sales Manager

Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and desire to deliver outstanding results? We are seeking a growth and service obsessed Regional Sales Manager who has a passion for cultivating best in class partnerships with channel partners and end-users in the United States.

IoT Deployment Services specializes in the technical installation, commissioning, and verification of smart building solutions. We have deployed over 3.5 million devices across 13 million square feet of commercial space in 11 countries. We serve end-users needing streamlined turnkey deployments. In this capacity, we serve as a partner by overseeing the entire process from start-to-finish and handling the complexity every step of the way. This can include complete services for lighting and controls and IOT device integration. We can also serve clients by assisting with a specific component of the overall deployment. We serve as a subcontractor to channel partners by offering our technical expertise in a specific capacity of their smart building project.

Our clients include Fortune 100 companies in the United States and multiple channel players in the value chain.

Our services include building audits, analysis, reality capture, controls and lighting design, installation, commissioning, submittal documentation, technical services, and ongoing project support.

Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategies to accelerate growth within a defined region. In this role, you will identify opportunities to drive IoT Deployments’ portfolio of services across our primary market verticals and customer channels. The qualified candidate must be a self-starter by nature and can drive results in a highly collaborative environment. The RSM will establish and maintain an effective relationship with the customer, through consultative and partnership selling activities and a comprehensive understanding of their service's needs.

Application Requirements

  • 5 years progressive sales experience in the access control, video management systems, smart building, construction, lighting/controls or building services fields
  • Proven ability to develop deep relationships with key decision-makers that has resulted in sustained success with accounts
  • Demonstrated competencies to drive profitable business through direct, and channel-based relationships
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in engineering or a technology field- MBA a plus.
  • Competency in smart building and energy technologies and markets with relevant customer insights desired
  • Knowledge of channel mechanics in the electrical, IOT, property management and commercial construction industries including electrical distributors, contractors, manufacturers’ representatives, value added resellers, independent software vendors, and IoT OEMs
  • Trained in solution selling techniques
  • Strong sales background in pipeline management, driving critical metrics, and embracing CRM platform
  • Ability to travel

This position will based in the Charlotte, NC market.

IoT Deployment Services has offices in Florida, Illinois, and North Carolina.

Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with mid-to-senior experience level plus quarterly bonus based on goal attainment.
