Invaleon Solar Technologies is Hiring an Engineering Manager Near Haverhill, MA

Invaleon Technologies Corporation, a leader in the renewable energy industry, is seeking an experienced and skilled Engineering Manager with a focus on commercial solar projects. The Engineering Manager will lead our engineering team in designing and developing specialized solar energy systems for commercial and utility-scale applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and a capable leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Engineering team with a specialization in commercial solar projects, providing guidance and mentorship to a team of solar design engineers and CAD engineers.
  • Coordinate the design, layout, and detailing of solar energy systems for commercial applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Anticipate design consequences, provide solutions, and ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedule.
  • Oversee the entire engineering process for solar projects, from conceptual design to product release, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met.
  • Drive the implementation of design standards and best practices within the department, specifically for commercial solar systems.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and monitor progress to meet milestones and deadlines.
  • Maintain documentation, including bills of materials, engineering change orders, and solar system design specifications.
  • Collaborate with senior management, providing project updates and identifying risks.
  • Engage with external partners, suppliers, and customers to gather requirements and ensure project success for commercial solar projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards, especially those specific to solar energy systems.
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance
  • Able to lead a large team of both Electrical and Mechanical engineers
  • This individual will coordinate the efforts to understand and resolve engineering and construction-related defects and milestones
  • This position will manage 4 junior-level engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Engineering degree required. Preferably in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4 years of experience in managing an Engineering team.
  • 6 years of experience in engineering designing or technical support and working experience, required.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and AutoCAD.
  • Previous CAD system administration and network management experience is advantageous.
  • Critical thinking skills a must.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, cross-functional integration, organizational, and communication skills are required
  • Technical Engineering Management experience with and in-depth understand of complex components and instruments and electrical systems and subsystems
  • Strong proven troubleshooting experience.

Compensation:

Salary range from $120,000 to $150,000 annually, based on experience.
