We are looking for a Contracts Specialist to join our team to support the Contracts team.
The candidate will acquire knowledge of government contract administration principles and practices. They will be responsible for overseeing contract performance by monitoring the budget, compliance documents, schedules, and deliverables. Additionally, the candidate will gain an understanding of subcontracting and purchasing procedures following the CPSR guidelines (purchasing as required per contract) by having a strong mathematical background.
Your Day-to-day Work Will Include

• Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
• Administer all aspects of contracts(including subcontracts), drafting of agreements, modifications.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

At a Minimum You Should Have

• Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance if/when required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
• A strong mathematical background.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) with the ability to communicate with all levels of management including internal and external customers excellent organization skills and detail-oriented.
• Must be a team player, detail-oriented, positive attitude, and ability to work at times with minimal supervision and produce results.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

You Will Be Highly Desirable If You Have

• Basic understanding or awareness of FAR/DFARS, GSA Federal Schedules, Federal IDIQ, GWAC contracts, and supplemental government acquisition regulations.
• Training in business processes and systems (accounting, finance, contracts law, CostPoint, Sharepoint, etc.).

Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000
