Intrepid Solutions and Services, LLC is Hiring a VTC Technician Near Washington, DC
Overview
Intrepid Solutions has a dynamic team supporting multiple levels of intelligence product creation, display, distribution and presentation. Within those services we provide media services like audio visual (AV) operations & maintenance (O&M), material for official events and function, and Agency exhibits/displays. Additionally, we support the briefings of this material through design and layout, interactive multimedia, video conferencing, and web operations support for metadata tagging of ICS-PUB documents.
Intrepid is seeking a VTC Technician to join our team to work within the flow of these needs, meeting or exceeding the requirements, and able to perform the duties, listed below.
Responsibilities
- Conducts hardware maintenance and minor installations on equipment
- Undertakes minor system tasks (e.g., loading software, rebooting systems) in support of hardware maintenance and operations functions
- Installs and incorporates new releases, updates, or other changes to COTS (Commercial off the shelf) hardware and software (diagnostics failures or potential failure predictions)
- Operates and applies automated hardware management and diagnostics systems (to include remote management and diagnostics) and interprets findings to maintain, repair, or upgrade hardware
- Coordinate maintenance of Audio Visual (AV) equipment
- Plans, executes, and provides recommendations for preventative maintenance
- Provides recommendations on spares, spares program, planning, and tracking operational spares and bench stock
- Provides technical assistance to responding field service personnel
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: This is a Full Time position, with standard operating hours Monday - Friday, 0600AM to 6:00PM.
TRAVEL: Position requires some travel within the National Capital Region.
Qualifications
CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret / SCI and CI Polygraph. ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any additional clearance upgrades outside of the CI Poly, reactivation, or sponsorship.***
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED AND Eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Associates Degree AND Six(6) years of relevant experience
- Bachelors Degree AND Four (4) years of relevant experience
- Masters Degree AND Two (2) years of relevant experience
CERTIFICATION(S): N/A
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Computing Environments: MTA 98-349, Windows Operating System Fundamentals
- Can certify higher, in Windows, as in Windows 10 minimum, Windows Server 2012 and higher, MCSA Windows 2012 and higher.
