Overview

Intrepid Solutions is seeking an Exchange Engineer to join our team to support Government activities in Washington, D.C., Annapolis Junction, MD, or Sterling, VA. As a SharePoint Engineer supporting the Government, you will be a part of a team charged with engineering solutions which integrate SharePoint services with load balancing systems, enhances existing technologies, and provides a roadmap for the customer's future shared infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Designs, deploys, integrates, and maintains on/off premise Exchange Solutions.
• Updates and maintains Exchange PowerShell Scripts that manage and maintain the production Exchange Environments.
• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
• Analyzes customer requirements concept of operations documents and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
• Performs continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems.
• Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
• Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
• Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develops system architecture and system design documentation.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interacts with the program personnel, Government, and senior executives regarding engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: The operating hours are Monday - Friday with more detail on anticipated start time(s) discussed during interview process. The work requires 100% onsite support, unless otherwise indicated.

TRAVEL: Position does not require travel.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

• Active Top Secret / SCI and CI Polygraph. ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any additional clearance upgrades outside of the CI Poly, to include reactivation, or sponsorship.***

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma 14 years of experience
• Associate's Degree 12 years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree 10 years of experience
• Master's Degree 8 years of experience
• PhD 6 years of experience

CERTIFICATION(S): 

• DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order.
• Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required and IT environment specified within the task order.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Exchange Server versions 2007-2019: design, install, configuration, maintenance, performance, tuning, migration, and upgrades to server.
• Knowledge of ATO and Project Management processes and experience in certifying products for use in production networks.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Vault and the integration process of Enterprise Vault into Exchange Environments.
• PowerShell
• Ability to work independently with minimal management supervision.
