Intramotev isseeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the software development team tomeet growing demands in the development of self-propelled rail vehicles.Intramotev is developing multiple unmanned self-propelled vehicles. The rolehas a strong software focus – the successful candidate will be a member of thedevelopment team for innovative self-propelled capabilities in areas such asReal-Time Software / Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS); real-timescheduling/multi-threaded programming; real-time application software (motor,brake, battery management, GPS, and communications control); and distributedsystems/architectures for current and future platforms. The development ofthese capabilities include multidisciplinary skills including: communicationand control of sensors, system development and integration, debugging andtesting on target hardware, and knowledge of vehicle management. This positionwill be based out of St. Louis, MO
This positioninvolves working in a dynamic team environment on small (1-2) to medium (3-6)person projects where excellent interpersonal and communication skills areneeded. Due to the research nature of the work, project objectives andrequirements are likely to evolve over the course of the role. A smallamount of domestic travel to support integration, demonstration and customerengagement may be required.
