We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer with a deep understanding of healthcare management to join our team. Collaborating with a centralized reporting team, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing custom SQL queries and extracts that securely return data from a Community Connect Epic instance. This role will also participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.

The work you will do:

• Design, build, and validate business intelligence tools and reports that solve complex technical challenges using SQL-based queries, including the development and automation of custom SSIS extracts
• Participate in the design, development, and analysis of data architecture and warehousing approaches, including the creation of both physical and logical data models in Clarity and Caboodle
• Maintain and develop documentation, test plans, code repository, and other analytic tools to ensure they meet standards for maintainability and compliance as necessary
• Provide troubleshooting, technical guidance, and general direction to clients or junior level staff as directed by immediate supervisor
• Regularly review upgrades from Epic to determine implications for respective modules and data artifacts. Consult with Application analysts, Epic TS, and internal leadership to appropriately prioritize and remediate updates as warranted.
• Design and propose innovative solutions that enhance overall quality of patient care and nephrology-specific practice optimization efforts

The skills and qualifications you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of experience in SSMS and Microsoft SQL server (queries, stored procedures, window functions, CTEs, views, etc.)
• SQL query performance tuning and expertise in relational and multidimensional database schemas
