Principle Accountabilities
1. Utilizing powered industrial trucks, moves raw materials to the production lines, organizes assigned work area, and stages finished product as per instructions from supervisor.
2. Tracks and sorts inventory while loading trailers for outbound shipment and assures accuracy of materials and products entering and exiting production facility
3. Completes required paperwork
4. Relieves in production as assigned and trained
5. Performs all work in a safety first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills.
6. Related tasks as requested by supervisor
Essential Skills and Experience
· High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
· 2 years manufacturing experience, including previous powered industrial truck experience required.
· Licensed for Powered Industrial Truck usage under IPG protocols.
· Must have the ability to meet objectives with minimum supervision.
· Must have basic computer skills, math skills, and English written communication skills.
· Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.
· Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required
· Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis
· Ability to consistently lift arms and work within full range of arm motion.
