Operators will monitor, maintain and operate the coater machine in a safe and efficient manner.

This schedule is: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday; 6pm-6am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures and housekeeping requirements on the production floor.
• Monitor and troubleshoot machines and processes by checking running conditions such as speed of output, pressure, temperatures, wind and unwind tensions to ensure quality and production goals are met.
• Record production, efficiency, scrap and other required key performance metrics.
• Conduct quality checks as required.
• Actively participate in the development of new work methods and/or procedures to determine better methods to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and reduce downtime.
• Make appropriate decisions with input or advice from the supervisor regarding line speed, quality of product adjustments, machine maintenance, directions and instructions, temperature settings, new product specifications, changes and running conditions

QUALIFICATIONS

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; two-year certification in a technical school, engineering or processing is strongly desired.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or prior related experience is necessary.
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot and optimize various manufacturing processes is a must.

Pay: $20- $25 per hour
