Additionally, Client's Richmond facility engineers and manufactures traction converters which are used by trains to convert power produced by their diesel engines or pulled from the electric grid into a form that the train can use to power on-board systems.

Power quality and protection products made in Richmond are used by data centers, hospitals, manufacturing plants, and utilities to protect key investments like servers, MRI machines, production lines, and more from electrical failures keeping their operations running smoothly. The client's traction converters are used in regional light, and commuter rail systems across the U.S.

Job Details
Electrical/Electronics Engineering encompasses the planning, design, development, testing, installation and co-ordination of related activities involving electrical/electronic components and systems.
Follow specific instructions of supervisor or senior engineers to perform the less complex professional assignments requiring application of standard engineering principles and practices.
Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.
Specific focus will be on electrical harness design and Windchill BOM updates for harness.
Primary software used in this position is Creo.
