Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Capital Markets Associate with expertise in financial and tax incentives to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization by assisting in structuring and executing financial packages that maximize value through the strategic utilization of tax incentives, grants, credits, and other financial incentives. As a specialist in this area, the Capital Markets Associate will collaborate closely with executives, internal teams, and external partners to develop customized solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Package Execution: Collaborate with our financing partners to execute organization financing objectives. Utilize financial modeling and analysis to design customized financial packages that optimize returns while maximizing the utilization of available incentives. Be a part of the deal team that sources the required financing packages. Execute the due diligence that our financial partners require to implement the financial packages.

2. Tax Incentive Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of federal, state, and local tax incentives, including tax credits, deductions, and deferrals, applicable to specific industries, projects, or investments. Evaluate the potential benefits and implications of various tax incentive programs to inform decision-making and optimize tax efficiency.

3. Grant and Subsidy Identification: Identify and assess opportunities for grants, subsidies, and other non-tax financial incentives available from government agencies, economic development organizations, and other sources. Develop strategies to leverage these incentives to enhance project feasibility and investment returns.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving tax laws, regulations, and incentive programs to ensure compliance and mitigate regulatory risks associated with financial package structuring. Provide guidance to clients and internal teams on regulatory requirements and best practices for optimizing incentive utilization.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including banking, legal, and tax professionals, to coordinate the execution of financial packages and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Cultivate relationships with external partners, including government agencies, legal advisors, and accounting firms, to leverage expertise and resources in support of organizational initiatives.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is highly desired.

· 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or a related financial services role.

· Profound proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, data analysis, financial modeling, and macro development.

· Strong understanding of financial instruments, valuation techniques, and capital markets concepts.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.

· A team player with a proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
