JOB OVERVIEW: The Housing and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that direct assistance, housing, and supplies are delivered in a timely, professional, and efficient manner to newly arrived refugees. The position manages the procurement of supplies for resettlement program including coordinating direct assistance delivery to newly arrived refugees as well as overseeing the housing needs of refugees through landlord partnerships. In close coordination with the IRC Salt Lake City development team, the Housing & Logistics Coordinator organizes group volunteers, secures furniture and other supply donations from community donors and partners as well represent the IRC on local committees related to the position. The Housing & Logistics Coordinator supervises the Housing Specialist, Housing assistant, AmeriCorps positions and any assigned volunteers/interns.This position reports to the Salt Lake City Casework Program Manager.
