Job Description
Building Maintenance
POSITION SUMMARY
Perform work involving facility maintenance and repair, including machine maintenance and repair as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Carpentry, painting, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing, aligning and general building maintenance.
- Installation of machinery, preventive maintenance and repair of automated machinery within the facility to ensure they are operating at optimum mechanical efficiency.
- Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment and other supplies so that stock is maintained and replenished for quick repair of facility or machines.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
- Prior experience with building maintenance
- Interior/exterior construction
- Familiarity with Power tools and shop equipment
- Understanding of differences in materials and supplies
- Familiarity with plumbing and pneumatic systems
- Experience with PVC
- Experience with Electrical
- Familiarity with ESD practices
