Job Description:

Company seeks to hire a Japanese and English, interpreter and translator for short-term, one to three months positions as a written and spoken communication bridge between American and Japanese manufacturing professionals. These individuals will be working onsite at our automotive manufacturing customer's facilities in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia areas . In addition, interpreting and translation will take place onsite in small and large office meetings, on the manufacturing plant floor, and on construction sites. In addition, interpreter and translator will be doing onsite translation of technical and nontechnical documents and e-mails.

Experience:

• Japanese and English interpreting and translation experience
• Work experience in a multicultural environment
• Ability to interpret technical conversations, quickly and accurately, in small and large meetings to and from Japanese and English
• Ability to do technical document translation to and from Japanese and English
• Automotive or technical interpreting and translation related experience

Requirements:

• Must speak English and Japanese fluently
• Must be able to interpret Japanese and English technical conversations, quickly and accurately
• Must read and write English and Japanese at a fluent level
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Microsoft program proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Work Hours:

Standard: 7:30AM ~ 4:00PM (30 min. lunch break -non paid) Mon. ~ Fri. The above is the standard work hours; however, work hours may be adjusted as needed.'
