Job Description
Requirements:
· MUST be knowledgeable in import and export freight forwarding and logistics.
· Minimum five years experience in the air cargo industry.
· MUST have a strong background in domestic and international transportation methods, including airline carrier knowledge and recovery and delivery operations.
· MUST be able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and motivate and direct staff while maintaining profitability.
Main Purpose of Job:
On-site Supervisor oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations involving exports and imports.
Main Responsibilities:
· Directly overseeing and maintaining all service standards of all customer traffic and support systems within his/her control.
· Continuously evaluate operational procedures and implement changes, as necessary, in accordance with company policy as directed by the Operations Manager.
· Monitor and direct all personnel assigned to the main station and/or airport facilities.
· Responsible for complying with all operational policies and procedures governing the company, as per SOP manuals and training guides.
· Interface and support all sales staff for all shipments processed at our facilities.
· Ensure all vehicles are properly licensed, registered, and maintained to meet all Federal/State & local regulations.
· Collaborate with and assist all other IBC facilities, both internationally and domestically.
· Oversee the maintenance of the physical facility.
Must be able to pass drug screening protocols and background checks, including any government-mandated guidelines.
Hours: 8:00 am- 4:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
