We’re hiring Retail Associates to Live. Work. Explore. in Zion National Park!

Job Summary:Retail Associates help provide quick and courteous customer services in high volume retail gift shop. Help answer guest questions, provide park/local insights, process payments, and helped keep the store stocked and cleaned. 

The Details:Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round or Seasonal (6 Months) Start Dates: March/April 2024

Pay: $12.90/hr

Housing/Meals: $13.50 per daySchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to gift shop and provide any assistance needed.
• Abide by proper cash handling procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean; which includes sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and trash removal.
• Give accurate helpful information to guests.
• Maintain a good working relationship with Managers and co-workers.
• Maintain a safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Able to function with flexibility and courteous behavior in a high volume retail operation.
• Acquire and demonstrate a basic knowledge of product information. 
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements 

• Frequently lift and carry cartons weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand/walk for a minimum eight-hour shift.
