Primary Care Physician (Primary Care)

Your day.

As a Physician in Primary Care, you'll work with sevenother Physicians and four Nurse Practitioners to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll collaborate with behavioral health, MAs, RNs, and front office support staff including a clinic manager.

  • You would practice in a large clinic setting, Patterson Primary Care in Grand Junction, CO
  • Your clinic days are flexible with corresponding FTE ( .7-1.0)
    • 1.0 FTE, 36 Patient Contact Hours in 4 - 10 hour days
  • Practice Call is currently 1:11 and runs from Wed 7p to Wed 7a, the week you are on call you will be the sole provider for our Saturday acute care clinic 8a-12p and one week day will be cut in half to make up for this time.
  • Patient load will start at 12 -15 patients a day as you establish a patient panel

Your experience.

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency training in Family, or Internal Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete St. Mary's credentialing process
