The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Urgent Care Fellowship is for recent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant graduates with an interest in furthering their education in the field of Urgent Care. Our 12-month program includes clinical time under the supervision of preceptors, rotations through a variety of specialties, didactic lectures, engagement in a Research or Quality Initiative project, and attendance at valuable bootcamps and workshops. Fellows will float through multiple Urgent Care clinics while developing skills in problem-focused point of care of acute and acute-on-chronic medical problems. The Primary Care Fellowship is one year in length, with two years working as a full provider after graduation, for a total commitment of three years. The position is limited to Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who have graduated from an accredited school within the past 12 months or have less than nine months working experience as an APP. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position.
