Description

Interlink is hiring our next Director of Client Engagement / Account Manager based in Mason, OH. This is a hybrid role. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’ll be part of a team that values collaboration while focusing on our customers' business and technical needs while providing digital transformation using Microsoft's suite of cloud offerings. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building strong customer relationships and has a proven history of selling technical services while increasing revenue.

As a Director of Client Engagement, you will oversee a portfolio of customers, develop new business from existing clients, collaborate between clients and internal teams, and actively seek new sales opportunities with provided warm leads. You are a champion for your clients’ needs and will nurture meaningful relationships that allow you to identify their business & technical pain points and requirements, develop proposals, and manage their feedback long-term.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Present, promote, and sell our consulting services using a win/win approach to existing and prospective customers
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and increase market share while achieving sales targets and outcomes; you will need to stay informed on industry trends to effectively anticipate client needs
  • Manage and prioritize client versus business needs by building relationships and proactively collaborating with stakeholders
  • Maximize client experience and satisfaction by actively listening to uncover root causes or unknown customer concerns; follow up by creating timely action plans and coordinate with service delivery leadership
  • Use Microsoft CRM to regularly update and maintain accurate customer data
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track opportunities and sales, and status reports; use data to create detailed reports reflecting customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products and services for leadership team
  • Maintain and develop partnerships with the Microsoft account team

Requirements

  • 5 years experience selling and negotiating contracts for technical services
  • 5 years experience in a client-centric role and a mindset to ask probing questions and strategize the best ways to solve customer needs with our business solutions
  • 2 years experience working with concepts and trends of Cloud computing
  • 2 years using CRMs for accurate client data and reporting
  • 3 years experience supporting multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • 3 years experience in Office products – especially Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Fluent business-level English (writing and speaking)
