Requirements

Interlaced is looking to hire a full-time Accountant to run day-to-day accounting operations for one of our divisions. Ideally in Nashville, TN area. This position will report directly to the Division Director. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about innovation and developing processes, thrives working within a strong team setting, likes to empower people, have fun at work and is people-focused!

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years of working accounting experience
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial statements, full cycle AR/AP, internal controls
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• ERP experience is a plus
• Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

How You Will Make a Difference Day To Day:

• Manage the full cycle of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Provide timely support to clients regarding billing inquiries
• Maintain and update vendor and customer accounts
• Bank & GL Reconciliations: conduct regular daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations. Investigate and resolve any variances in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements meeting month end deadlines
• Work collaboratively with other members of accounting and finance team across all Interlaced divisions
• Assist Group Controller in interim and annual audit
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
• Maintain SOP’s, and train other team members on the updated processes
• Prepare and file annual 1099’s
• Admin duties include: state filings, light office admin duties
• Other duties as assigned

This position is hybrid, between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. FLSA status: exempt.
