Job Description :

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver Support Specialist.

In this role, you will provide essential personal care support to clients in both home and community settings, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and coaching new care professionals, conducting supervisory visits, and assisting with various educational and special events.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver personalized personal care support to clients in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Mentor and coach new care professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct 30-day, 90-day, and annual supervisory visits to ensure quality care delivery.
• Assist with the initial start of care in clients' homes, facilitating introductions for care professionals.
• Coordinate and participate in education / in-service training sessions and orientations.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute special events for clients and caregivers.
• Fill in shifts and cover field team vacations as required.
• Implement employee retention strategies to promote team cohesion and satisfaction.

Requirements :

• Experience in providing personal care support to individuals in home and community settings.
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to support and guide new care professionals.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for morning, afternoon, night, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Willingness to travel locally between client locations.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation schedule.

The Interim HealthCare Home Care Aide may not :

• Perform any personal care or skilled nursing procedure, which is prohibited by the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Reconcile bank statements, endorse checks, or use any form of the client’s credit (e.g.

credit or debit cards, ATM).

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements :

• Age of majority in the state.
• Any training required by state law or regulation or
• Twelve (12) months of accumulated experience in a similar job classification or similar life experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :

• Successful completion of appropriate knowledge (competency) assessment.
• Meets applicable health requirements to provide care.
• Other minimum requirements as defined by state law or regulation.
• Proof of valid auto liability insurance and valid driver’s license as required by the organization’s insurance carrier if assignment(s) include driving a vehicle, preferred .
• Able to hear, speak and write and read in English in a manner understood by most people.
• Able to read ten (10) point or larger type.
• Able to effectively handle multiple tasks or functions.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort :

• Able to constantly travel locally from assignment to assignment.
• Able to constantly stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and reach freely.
