Interim HealthCare - Fenton, MO is Hiring a Home Care Aide (HCA) - (Floater Position) Near Fenton, MO

This position will have both hands-on home care field duties and admin. office responsibilities.

Must have:

- 3 years or more of healthcare/homecare experience.

- Open availability, including some weekends, evenings, days, and nights.

- 6 months or more of office experience.

- Able to critically think and be able to jump in whenever and where ever needed.

- Team player, driven, dedicated, hard working, strong work ethic, performs well under pressure, multitasking.

The home care aide floater position supports the common goals of the office as it relates to the management of the day-to-day office operations. This position includes both personal care duties and office assistance. This position requires a flexible schedule with weekend and evening availability.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and oversee retention programs for care professionals including caregiver appreciation activities.

  • Assist with home care introductions for all new clients/care professionals.

  • Fill-in for call-ins, vacations, and initial start of care as deemed necessary.

  • Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate staffing/client needs on an as-needed basis including mornings, midday, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend availability.

  • Meets with and maintains phone contact with Home Care Team/On-Call Office personnel daily, including beginning and end of each day.

  • Assists with orientation, introduction of care professionals to new clients and training/mentoring of field-based care professionals.

  • On-call rotation schedule with administrative team.

  • Performs administrative tasks associated with service to clients including, scheduling, logging, documenting all appointments and services, provide information, notices, and regular communications with clients and designee.

  • Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Successful completion of appropriate knowledge assessment.

  • Meets applicable health requirements to provide care.

  • Other minimum requirements as defined by state law or regulation.

  • Proof of valid auto liability insurance and valid driver's license.

  • Able to hear, speak, write, and read in English

  • Able to effectively handle multiple tasks or functions.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Age of majority in the state

  • Any training required by state law or regulation

  • Twelve (12) months of accumulated experience in a similar job classification or similar life experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Able to constantly travel locally from assignment to assignment to assignment.

  • Able to constantly stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach freely.
