About the Position

As a Graphic Production Assistant at IGE, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our branding process for trade show exhibits and displays. Working in close collaboration with the graphics and fabrication teams, you will be responsible for developing branding layouts, ensuring correct graphic sizes and specifications, and coordinating client artwork. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our exhibits and displays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Design Manager to determine layout and graphic requirements for branding and production.

• Develop branding layouts for printing, ensuring precise graphic sizes and specifications.

• Identify appropriate printing methodologies, including vinyl, 3D logos, straight panel printing, and tension fabrics.

• Maintain expertise in image and printing sizes.

• Adhere to the graphic production schedule to meet project deadlines.

• Proficiency in large format printing, including handling large tension fabrics.

• Generate proof sheets and obtain client approval for the production run.

• Effectively communicate job requirements and expectations to Project Managers.

• Adhere to branding guidelines for each project.

• Create and manipulate graphics and artwork as needed.

• Retouch artwork and create proofs for printing.

• Obtain cost estimates for graphic printing through the vendor network in the United States.

• Coordinate with vendors for graphic production.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to printing and graphics.

• Ensure all graphics meet IGE's high-quality standards and adhere to the Performance Guarantee.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong creativity and effective time management skills.

• Experience in production design, including layout development and proof submission.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop CAD experience is a plus.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in graphic design and production roles.

Education

Ideally, candidates will hold a degree in Graphic Design and related experience working in Digital Printing.

Compensation:

$20 - $23.50 / hour
