Overview

Job PurposeThe Manager, Competitive & Strategic Analytics role will collaborate with and support the executive team. The primary objective of this role is to keep the executive team informed of industry news, competitive intelligence and internal metrics vs. external peer metrics.

Responsibilities

• Building out a monthly summary of financial and sales metrics across the organization by aggregating data produced from other internal financial and sales operations teams
• Maintaining a monthly package of ICE valuation and growth metrics vs. peers
• Maintaining a weekly package of ICE peer stock performance vs. peers
• Develop competitive company/product briefs for leaders
• Research new private companies for product leaders
• Work with internal teams (Financing, Accounting, business unit leads, and others) to gather global performance data, competitive analysis, and in-depth financial and strategic information to assist with earnings materials, press releases, and assist with preparing management for investor meetings
• Review SEC filings including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and proxy materials for competitors 
• Build and maintain strong company and sector expertise. Stay current on all business activities, including financial implications, competitive landscape and disclosure requirements. 
• Build effective, trusted communications with executive management

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or closely related discipline; CPA, CFA or MBA a plus
• At least 3 years of relevant financial experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, consulting, corporate finance, corporate strategy, corporate development or related fields
• Must possess strong analytical and financial analysis skills
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, self-starter who is results-oriented
• Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Familiar with industry platforms such as FactSet, AlphaSense and PitchBook
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
