Extrusion Technician: Seeking Experienced Extrusion Technicians
10 Hour shifts working Monday through Thursday - some occasional overtime may be required

Pay Starting at $16.75 - will be negotiable based on previous work experience

• Evening $1.00 and Overnight $1.50 - shift-differentials
• Previous work experience in the plastic/molding extrusion process is a plus.

• JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for safety, quality, and production of assigned line
• Ensure correct resin formulations in accordance with SOCs

• Fill out the raw material consumption according to the docket and enter it in the system
• Initiate timely line adjustments to correct quality issues, in accordance with operating procedures and/or troubleshooting manuals
• Closely monitor all extrusion functions to ensure that line is running within required operating conditions
• Take line data to verify settings according to product being run
• Assist adjoining line, as needed, to maximize productivity
• Properly maintain and care for equipment. Notify Sr. Technician of any maintenance issues requiring immediate attention
• Overtime as required
• Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices

• Must have regular, reliable attendance and be willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.

• 2 years’ experience in extrusion
• P.C. knowledge helpful
• Mechanical aptitude
• Oral and written communication skills
