We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Financial Management Analyst to join our team in a client-facing role. As a key member of our Department of Defense (DoD) financial management team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial processes, leveraging your expertise in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI.

Location & Travel: The Financial Management Analyst-Senior position will be a Hybrid role based at the Pentagon with the ability to be in the office 2-3 days/week and attend onsite meetings as needed. 

Security Clearance: The Financial Management Analyst-Senior must be a United States Citizen and hold a current Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs and provide tailored solutions to address their requirements
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI to analyze financial data, identify trends, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from various feeder systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, providing guidance and support to end-users
• Conduct thorough financial analyses, reconciliations, in the procure to pay cycle to identify potential areas for improvement
• Offer financial advisory services to clients, providing insights and recommendations based on your expert analysis

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required for this role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 8 years of experience interpreting financial reports, performing financial statement analysis, and providing recommendations
• 5 years of experience with the full pay cycle process to include obligations/entitlement and expenditures
• Operating knowledge of Procurement Data Standards schemas i.e., Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS), Defense Cash Accountability System (DCAS)
• Proven experience as a Financial Management Analyst, within DoD Headquarters or DoD Components
• Proficiency in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI, with a track record of leveraging these tools to drive meaningful insights and support decision-making
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to work 2-3 days per week onsite (Pentagon & McLean, VA), with the remaining days available for remote work
