Intelligent Technical Solutions is Hiring a PC Deployment Technician Near Reno, NV

Job Description:We’re looking for a full-time PC Deployment Technician to help us support our clients in providing world class service within our SLAs using a passionate and positive approach to the job. You will be responsible for assisting in the imaging and on-site deployment of all end user computers. You will also assist end users with any support needs or questions they may have related to the deployment. You will also spearhead improving the deployment process to increate client satisfaction as well as the time it takes to image and deploy.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and prepare equipment and racks for installation.
  • Use automation tools to perform the imaging process and distribution of applications to workstations.
  • Manually install applications where automation is not available.
  • Install and configure hardware and software systems according to the specifications and requirements.
  • Test systems to ensure they are working properly and meet the performance standards.
  • Troubleshoot problems with systems and provide technical support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation.
  • Assist senior technicians with larger deployment projects.
  • Communicate in an open, engaging, and helpful tone across all channels including email (tickets), chat, phone calls.
  • Tailor communication style and troubleshooting delivery to match knowledge or skill level of end user.
  • Coordinate incident resolution with third parties and vendors.
  • Communication with clients to keeping them informed of progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages/down time.
  • Identify and surface trends of client issues with a focus on potential solutions.
  • Update and improve the PC build and deployment process to increase client satisfaction and lower time taken for each PC deployed.
Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in providing IT support to clients, preferably including imaging, and deploying PC’s.
  • Experience in troubleshooting end user issues and a Windows domain environment. An associate degree in computer network administration or similar field may substitute the above experience for the right candidate.
  • Someone who can work with others to deliver results, provide meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing group needs over individual needs.
  • Someone who consistently achieves results, demonstrating high performance, and challenging self and others to deliver results.
  • A team member that demonstrates a desire to proactively help and serve clients and other team members meet their needs.
  • Can clearly convey thoughts, both written and verbally, listening attentively and asking questions for clarification and understanding.
  • Pursues everything with energy, drive, and a need to finish—doesn’t give up.
  • Uses an organized and logical approach to find solutions to complex problems.
  • Looks beyond the obvious to understand the root cause of problems.
  • Someone who is personally committed to, and actively works to continuously improve.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle that you can use for traveling to and from clients' offices and our offices
Job KPI's:
  • Deploy expected number of PCs per week.
  • Decrease the time it takes to deploy a PC.
  • Maintain utilization goals and CSAT.
Compensation:
Pay rate starts from $20.07/hr up to $25.84/hr and vary by experience and location.
  • Pay increase depends on acquisition of certificates. Technicians are expected to take the company sponsored certification at least once every six months upon hiring.
  • (Example certifications: CompTIA Security , CompTIA Network , Microsoft MCDST or MCP.)
