Construction Safety Coordinator opportunity in Florida

Well established construction related company seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to assist to coordinate all.

of the organization's safety activities and programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment for all employees; develops and implements accident prevention programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, communicate, and monitors safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations.
• Investigates all accidents and injuries; recommends and/or coordinates corrective actions with Safety Manager.
• Develop and implement safety training programs designed to instruct employees in general safe work practices.

Identifies potential safety hazards at all facilities; reports hazards

and recommendations for eliminating/reducing to Safety Manager.

• Minimum of three years related experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to travel to job sites (trips are short in duration)
