The ideal candidate will coordinate/perform both reactive maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance on Molecular Beam Epitaxy reactors and associated systems and components. Troubleshoot and repair down equipment. Work with Equipment Engineers to improve and increase equipment uptime. Work with vendors, field service and technical representatives. Communicate daily activities and make database entries to document all work performed on equipment.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Associate of Applied Science (A.S.) or above (preferred). Military experience may be considered in place of A.S. degree.
• Knowledge of vacuum, AC and DC electronics, optics, and semiconductor devices a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills in MS Windows/Office products (especially Excel).
• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Hands-on participation and strong sense of ownership.
• Standing for long periods.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Ability to work in fast paced, high volume production environment.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
