Intellibee is Hiring a Data Scientist 2 Near Richmond, VA
The Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst to support the Customer Service Division (CSD) across 5 functional areas including the Call Center, Billing, Revenue, Logistics, and Field Services.
Primary Duties:
- Provide ad-hoc reports
- Develop reporting cadence and provide performance reports at the individual and team level for all operating areas
- Collect data and examine it to spot trends and glean information that can be used to make business decisions
- Demonstrate ability to be a trusted & respected business partner to all levels in the organization, and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable next steps for internal teams
- Collaborate with Data Scientist and other team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in data analytics
- Working knowledge of data engineering principles: understanding how to store, manage, & retrieve large-scale data sets from multiple systems for analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
- A higher level of computer proficiency
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Ability to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge and experience in government operations and utilities preferred
