Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop project plans.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other automation devices.
- Develop control strategies and algorithms to optimize system performance.
- Perform system integration and validation testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams on automated systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in automation technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in automation engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong programming skills in PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMIs (Wonderware, FactoryTalk).
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
