Amotec is actively seeking a candidate for an Automation & Controls Engineer opportunity with an established global CPG manufacturing company at their facility in eastern North Carolina. This location is experiencing rapid growth, and person in this role will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing electrical industrial controls to support that growth.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and implement electrical control systems for an industrial manufacturing facility
• Work within a cross-functional team environment to support facility-wide electrical engineering projects
• Oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Field
• At least 2 years of engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
• Strong understanding of, and experience with, project management
• Experienced with PLC logic, adjustable speed motor controls, three phase equipment, positioning servo drive systems, and industrial control networks
