Intela Staffing is seeking to fill a Registered Nurse role for East Los Angeles Hospital that specializes in patient care in a healthcare setting, working as part of a team to deliver quality healthcare services. This role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The RN collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Provide direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients according to established protocols and best practices.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes.
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress, documenting observations and reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including patient histories, care plans, and treatment records.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure clear understanding and appropriate care.
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, following established protocols for emergency care.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications may be required, depending on the specialty and facility.
