Manual Machinist (2nd Shift) - Cleveland, OH - JOB 24-

Hourly Rate : $25.25 - $27.17 / HR ($1.50 shift premium) Permanent Position with Benefits.

Cleveland Manufacturing Company is seeking a Manual Machinist for their 2 nd Shift operations. Operate manual machines; lathes, mills, surface grinders, band saws and drill presses.

REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 4-year Class A apprenticeship
• 1-2 years' work experience beyond the apprenticeship
• Knowledge of blueprint reading
• Knowledge of tool room equipment
• Knowledge in the use of precision instruments
• Demonstrated math skills
• Knowledge of metal properties and abrasives
• Knowledge of the manufacturing process at overview level
• Knowledge of mechanical processes
• Shift hours - 3 : 30pm - 12 : 00am - OT as needed

DUTIES :

• Operating electronic or other machinery
• Regulating speed of machinery (other than transport)
• Adjusting machines
• Setting up equipment or machinery for operation
• Cleaning or oiling machinery
• Adjusting focus of visual device
• Operating machine controls (other than transport)
• Stopping machinery at precise point indicated
• Examine machinery / equipment to check working order
• Regular checking of machinery for maintenance

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
