Position Overview:
As a non-medical in-home caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This position involves assisting clients with daily activities, providing companionship, and supporting their independence in the comfort of their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care activities, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, recreational activities, and social outings.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs to the care management team.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed.
- Support clients with mobility, including transfers and ambulation.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
Qualifications:
- Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license if employee will be transporting client's.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
